Paynesville ... the centre of the universe for the next 6 days ...
Day one, the Invitation Race and all is looking good
the time had come for sailors to hit the waters of the Gippsland Lakes.
a colourful fleet of 46 Impulse dinghies took to the water
for a shake down sail...
some people have changed their colours...
there was a lot of searching for help on high
wisdom and experience on course..
hiking out ..
and lining up...
....there are always some who break the mold...
some high jinx at the mark
buoy rounding was busy
a bit of argy - bargy .. here and there
until everybody got their ducks in a row..

then back to the impulse fleet..
a bit of wiggle and waggle...
a lot of waggle...
and a nice cruisy home run...
it was back to the beach for a .... refreshment..
it all gets serious tomorrow..
